As the 8th season of the Prep Fan show winds to a close, I have to say thanks to many, many people…especially you the listeners! When the show was moved to ESPN 700 there were some question as to whether our loyal listeners would follow, and boy did you ever! Over the course of the 39 shows, we gave out prizes to lucky winners in 22 cities and 12 counties from around the state! Our listenership more than doubled this year…Thank you! The 50,000 WATT signal of ESPN really expanded our reach.

Amy and James took turns in studio throughout the year and while we did not get the three of us together as often, we certainly had fun. We each added Twitter this year, Amy @adonsports, James @desnewsreal and Rick @theprepfan  Video on the website will be added on the website over the summer. Speaking of Summer, now is the time to take those Saturdays and play golf or travel or both. Amy will keep running, James will will stay on the Real Salt Lake trail and I will be somewhere on a golf course, hopefully.

Coaches, athletes and special guests from all over the state and in each competition classification were hi-lited once again this year. This is the reason that the show exists, so that we can bring the very best that prep sports in the state has to offer. Rarely does a guest ever say no to a request to come on the show, and if they do it is because they are busy with their respective team and/or sport.
